Đức Giê-su ra khỏi đó và đến nơi quê quán của Người, có các môn đệ đi theo.
In jener Zeit kam Jesus in seine Heimatstadt; seine Jünger begleiteten ihn.
And he went away from there, and came into his country; and his disciples went with him.

Am Sabbat lehrte er in der Synagoge. Und die vielen Menschen, die ihm zuhörten, staunten und sagten: Woher hat er das alles? Was ist das für eine Weisheit, die ihm gegeben ist! Und was sind das für Wunder, die durch ihn geschehen!
And when the Sabbath day had come, he was teaching in the Synagogue; and a number of people hearing him were surprised, saying, From where did this man get these things? and, What is the wisdom given to this man, and what are these works of power done by his hands?
Ông ta không phải là bác thợ, con bà Ma-ri-a, và anh em của các ông Gia-cô-bê, Giô-xết, Giu-đa và Si-môn sao? Chị em của ông không phải là bà con lối xóm với chúng ta sao?” Và họ vấp ngã vì Người.
Ist das nicht der Zimmermann, der Sohn der Maria und der Bruder von Jakobus, Joses, Judas und Simon? Leben nicht seine Schwestern hier unter uns? Und sie nahmen Anstoß an ihm und lehnten ihn ab.
Is not this the woodworker, the son of Mary, and brother of James and Joses and Judas and Simon? and are not his sisters here with us? And they were bitter against him.
Đức Giê-su bảo họ: “Ngôn sứ có bị rẻ rúng, thì cũng chỉ là ở chính quê hương mình, hay giữa đám bà con thân thuộc, và trong gia đình mình mà thôi.”
Da sagte Jesus zu ihnen: Nirgends hat ein Prophet so wenig Ansehen wie in seiner Heimat, bei seinen Verwandten und in seiner Familie.
And Jesus said to them, A prophet is nowhere without honour, but in his country, and among his relations, and in his family.
Người đã không thể làm được phép lạ nào tại đó; Người chỉ đặt tay trên một vài bệnh nhân và chữa lành họ.
Und er konnte dort kein Wunder tun; nur einigen Kranken legte er die Hände auf und heilte sie. Und er wunderte sich über ihren Unglauben.
And he was unable to do any work of power there, but only to put his hands on one or two persons who were ill, and make them well.

Jesus zog durch die benachbarten Dörfer und lehrte dort.
And he was greatly surprised because they had no faith. And he went about the country places teaching.
