Gospel to Marco 4,35-41

 

Hôm ấy, khi chiều đến, Đức Giê-su nói với các môn đệ: "Chúng ta sang bờ bên kia đi! "

An jenem Tag, als es Abend geworden war, sagte Jesus zu seinen Jüngern: Wir wollen ans andere Ufer hinüberfahren.

And on that day, when the evening had come, he said to them, Let us go over to the other side.

 

Bỏ đám đông ở lại, các ông chở Người đi, vì Người đang ở sẵn trên thuyền; có những thuyền khác cùng theo Người.

Sie schickten die Leute fort und fuhren mit ihm in dem Boot, in dem er saß, weg; einige andere Boote begleiteten ihn.

And going away from the people, they took him with them, as he was, in the boat. And other boats were with him.

 

Và một trận cuồng phong nổi lên, sóng ập vào thuyền, đến nỗi thuyền đầy nước.

Plötzlich erhob sich ein heftiger Wirbelsturm, und die Wellen schlugen in das Boot, so dass es sich mit Wasser zu füllen begann.

And a great storm of wind came up, and the waves came into the boat, so that the boat was now becoming full.

 

Trong khi đó, Đức Giê-su đang ở đàng lái, dựa đầu vào chiếc gối mà ngủ. Các môn đệ đánh thức Người dậy và nói: "Thầy ơi, chúng ta chết đến nơi rồi, Thầy chẳng lo gì sao? "

Er aber lag hinten im Boot auf einem Kissen und schlief. Sie weckten ihn und riefen: Meister, kümmert es dich nicht, dass wir zugrunde gehen?

And he himself was in the back of the boat, sleeping on the cushion: and they, awaking him, said, Master, is it nothing to you that we are in danger of destruction?

 

Người thức dậy, ngăm đe gió, và truyền cho biển: "Im đi! Câm đi! " Gió liền tắt, và biển lặng như tờ.

Da stand er auf, drohte dem Wind und sagte zu dem See: Schweig, sei still! Und der Wind legte sich, und es trat völlige Stille ein.

And he came out of his sleep, and gave strong orders to the wind, and said to the sea, Peace, be at rest. And the wind went down, and there was a great calm.
