Then John gave this testimony: "I saw the Spirit come down from heaven as a dove and remain on him.

Về phần tôi, tôi đã không biết Ngài. Nhưng Ðấng sai tôi làm phép rửa trong nước phán bảo tôi: “Ngươi thấy Thánh Thần ngự xuống trên ai, thì đó chính là Ðấng làm phép rửa trong Chúa Thánh Thần”.

Auch ich kannte ihn nicht; aber er, der mich gesandt hat, mit Wasser zu taufen, er hat mir gesagt: Auf wen du den Geist herabkommen siehst und auf wem er bleibt, der ist es, der mit dem Heiligen Geist tauft.

And I myself did not know him, but the one who sent me to baptize with water told me, 'The man on whom you see the Spirit come down and remain is the one who will baptize with the Holy Spirit.'

Tôi đã thấy và tôi làm chứng: chính Ngài là Con Thiên Chúa”.

Das habe ich gesehen, und ich bezeuge: Er ist der Sohn Gottes.

I have seen and I testify that this is God's Chosen One."
